Queen Elizabeth has a few of these-- Pembrokes crossed with Longhaired Dachshunds. She calls hers "dorgis"-- which sounds "dorky."
Some of these designer mixes at least have the potential to be complementary - but, cuteness aside, the only thing corgi and dachshunds seem to have in common is short legs. Why do that on purpose, seriously. At least Maddy is an honest mutt.
