Looking at these photos, I've got to tell you something strange. My dog loves all other dogs, and really likes playing with them.Well, today, I let her out into the West Virginia taiga, and then I heard barking. When she returned, she brought a friend. Not another dog.Not even another carnivore. She has made friends with a yearling deer (whom I'm calling Flag.) They chased each other all afternoon.I couldn't believe it.Never have I heard of a dog and a deer becoming friends like this!If he's here tomorrow, I'm bringing the camera out. The dog and deer playing games brought quite an audience this afternoon.
Wow, that's pretty amazing. I hope you get some photos!(Isn't it little, I dunno, bad luck to name him 'Flag', though?)
